Drug and Alcohol Policy

Company is committed to providing a safe working environment by eliminating conditions and work practices that could lead to illness or injury or property damage.  All employees are expected to behave in a responsible manner and present themselves to work in a fit and healthy state.

The purpose of this policy is to minimise health and safety risks attributable to employees being under the influence of alcohol and other drugs.

Fit For Work Policy

Company is committed to ensuring systems and procedures are in place to promote and maintain an employee’s ability to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.

Personnel can be directly affected by a number of factors; the amount of rest periods between work shifts, the duration of work shifts, quality of rest time, overall fitness of employees and the use of alcohol or prescribed and non-prescribed medication or drugs that influence their ability to work safely.

Rehabilitation and Return to Work Policy

Our Company recognises that helping workers to stay at work or make an early and safe return after an injury minimises the impact of injury on them and their families.

We support our injured workers by having a system of workplace rehabilitation and providing suitable duties for them while they are recovering.

We expect that all injured workers will return to work on suitable duties as soon as it is medically safe to do so.

We have appointed a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator (RRTWC) to manage workplace rehabilitation for our injured workers.
